Timothy Spall stars as painter J.M.W. Turner in Mr. Turner, Mike Leigh’s film about the British artist. Previous Leigh collaborators feature both in front of and behind the camera – with actors including Marion Bailey, Dorothy Atkinson and Paul Jesson, and the crew led by producer Georgina Lowe, cinematographer Dick Pope, costume designer Jacqueline Durran and make-up and hair designer Christine Blundell (an Oscar winner for the director’s Topsy-Turvy).
