A journey through the human body, taking in the grotesque and the beautiful

Bodysong is an experimental amalgam of imagery, documenting human life from its messy start to various grisly ends. Home movies, newsreel and other archive footage have been cut together to create a mesmerising showcase of the cycle of life set to a mostly abstract soundtrack by Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood. Loading up the viewer's eyeballs with hardcore sex, childbirth and soldiers being shot in the head, and segments examining food and language, the whole human sensory experience is explored. Bodysong was written and directed by Simon Pummell (Shock Head Soul).
