A sugary Disney remake of the (quite sugary) Disney original, with newcomer Lohan taking over the dual role of the twins (previously played by Hayley Mills) who meet for the first time at a summer camp and arrange to swap places so that they can bring their estranged parents (Quaid and Richardson) back together. Lohan makes a fine job of mastering both the American and English accents, and the whole thing is pleasant enough - provided you can suspend your disbelief for long enough to accept that all English people talk in plummy accents, swan around Kensington and have butlers.
