Assassins

Assassins

Synopsis

Stallone is the top-class assassin with the mid-life crisis, and Banderas the rival itching to step into his shoes.

About

Stallone is the top-class assassin with the mid-life crisis, and Banderas the rival itching to step into his shoes. When Stallone is hired to bump off Moore, who is inadvertently carrying a computer disc she shouldn't be, he begins to have second thoughts when Banderas starts to interfere. Stallone is hardly flexing his acting muscle here, and does his brooding quiet-type performance, while Banderas is over the top as his rival. The plot becomes increasingly silly, and while some pleasure can be had in the improbable set pieces, this is not nearly as much fun as it should be.
