Review
Typically overblown and over-acted Berkoff vehicle stars the writer/director as the private investigator who gets involved with client Collins. She has hired him to spy on her philandering husband Biggins. It's a very stagey affair, with the characters apparently shouting to make themselves heard in the gods. There is a witty, perceptive play in here somewhere, but this big-screen adaptation seems to have smothered it with over-direction and some seriously misjudged performances.
