Review
As Curtis comedies go, this one is splashing about at the better end. But it's still pretty silly, incoherent stuff. What did you expect from a movie based on an Ira Wallach novel called Muscle Beach? Cardinale is the foreign sexpot in Southern California, who forces Curtis off the road and down a hillside. It's an accident, of course, but the resulting explosion deprives Tone of his pants, his dignity, and all his worldly possessions. Fortunately, Claudia's boyfriend gives him a job - which gives our hero the perfect opportunity to bum around on the beach. As flimsy as it sounds.
