Review
Aldrich turns his hand to the biblical epic. Of course, the director of Kiss Me Deadly was never going to be satisfied with a straightforward swords and sandals number and sure enough he homes in on the Old Testament's most spicy saga. Granger plays Lot, leading the Hebrews into the Valley of Jordan and its dens of iniquity, the twin cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Aldrich makes the most of the story's depravity, dredging the depths of lust and betrayal as Granger locks into a bitter power struggle with the cities' sultry queen, Aimée, and her ambitious brother Baker.
