Review
Soapy stuff with Crawford (a hotshot fashion illustrator), Andrews (a tough-talking lawyer) and Fonda (a former soldier) fighting it out in the lather. Crawford, of course, is the dominant member of this menage, but she's just waiting to melt into a maternal homebody - if only one of these guys would snap out of the butch act and talk to her about having kids. You might be surprised by the theme of child abuse, and there's a similar lack of obviousness about the progress of the plot: you're kept guessing about which man Joan will side with until the end - though their weakness suggests that a long and happy life with either isn't on the cards.
