Wimbledon terms &conditions

1. To qualify to enter the competition you must be resident in the United Kingdom and be 18 years old or over. You must not be an employee, an agent or a director of Channel Four Television (or UIP or The Dorchester), its associated companies or subsidiaries or any advertising agency or web company connected with channel4.com/film, or any member of any such person's family. Channel 4 reserves the right to verify the legibility of applications.

2. To enter the competition, applicants must complete the registration form and the competition application form in its entirety, including accepting these terms and conditions, and submit the application form to us. In order to qualify for the prize, your entry must be received by the closing date stated in the competition details. Incomplete entries or those not received by the above deadline will be disqualified.

3. By entering the competition, you hereby warrant that all the information submitted by you in your application is true.

4. The prize is not transferable and cannot be substituted for a cash alternative.

5. The make and model of the prize may be subject to change. channel4.com/film reserves the right to substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value at any time.

6. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or the results of any competition, the decision of channel4.com/film shall be final.

7. channel4.com/film reserves the right to disqualify any applicant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the applicant has breached any of these terms and conditions.

8. In the event that any applicant is disqualified from the competition, channel4.com/film in its sole discretion may decide whether a replacement contestant should be selected. In this event, any further applicant will be selected on the same criteria as the original applicant and will be subjected to these terms and conditions.

9. Entry to the competition is by email only.

10. The winner will be selected at random from those entries received before the closing date.

11. Only the winning applicant will be contacted by channel4.com/film. channel4.com/film's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. The winner's name may be published on the channel4.com/film website after the closing date of the competition.

13. The winner may be requested to make themselves available for promotion or publicity of channel4.com/film, FilmFour Limited and/or Channel Four Television and shall make themselves reasonably available for such purposes.

14. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost or delayed in transmission whether by email or otherwise. Channel Four has no responsibility for damage or loss resulting from misdirected or incomplete entries arising from computable functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control.

15. Channel Four reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this competition at anytime without prior notice. Any changes will be posted within the rules on the site.

16. The competition and the terms and conditions of this agreement will be governed by English law. 17. The following terms and conditions apply to The Dorchester Hotel:

•Check in time is 14.00 hours. •Check out time is 12 noon. •May we advise you that our cancellation policy is 14.00 hours, the day prior to arrival. If we are unable to re-let your accommodation, a charge will be levied for the first night of your booking. •No pets allowed except for guests with special needs •A request can be made for a child under 17 to be accommodated in their parent?s room, subject to a charge and confirmation by the hotel. •The credit card you use to guarantee the booking must be produced upon check in, and the guest must be the authorised signatory on the card. •The rate quoted is inclusive of Service and Value added Tax at the standard rate of 17.5%.

18. Depending upon the day not all of the Wimbledon tour may be available.

19. FilmFour are willing to pay the winner's travel expenses up to the amount of £250 only.

20. The winner's stay at The Dorchester will be for two days only, on the dates of Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st September 2004.

By entering this competition, applicants agree to be bound by the above terms and conditions.
